Do I have to create an account in order to purchase products?

To allow us to serve you faster and more efficiently we require an account to place an order. Once you do create an account with DesignerLiving, our system will remember your detailed information so the next time you log-on, all you have to do is simply verify or update your records at checkout. This will save you time on reorders!

Can I update the shipping address or billing information?

Of course! Click on Your Account at the top right of any page. Then click on the Billing or Shipping link to update the appropriate information.

I have forgotten my username and/or password? What should I do?

Click on Your Account at the top right of any page. Then click on Forgot Password. We will email your password immediately for quick and easy access.

I would like to see a listing of all my previous purchases. Is that possible?

Yes, please visit the Your Account page to see your order history.

I’m concerned about other people or companies gaining access to my personal account information. Is my information secure?

How can I get your web pages to match the size of my screen?

Your monitor should be set to a resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher. To change your monitor settings please do the following: - Windows Users: Go to Start Menu, Settings, Control Panel, then Display - Macintosh OS9 Users: Go to Apple Menu, Control Panels, Monitors - Macintosh OSX Users: Open System Preferences and click on the Displays tab.

Does it matter which web browser I am using?

For the highest quality when visiting our site, please use Firefox 3.0 (or higher), Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 (or higher), or Safari (for Macintosh) or newer browser.

To order, does my browser need to be set to accept cookies?

Yes. In order to better serve our customers, we sometimes need to remember or track certain information that pertains to them. Enabling cookies allows us to access this necessary information. Is ordering easier if I have an account already registered?

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal and Checkout by Amazon. Sorry, no checks or money orders.

Can I purchase a gift certificate on DesignerLiving?

Gift certificates are not currently available on our site. However, you can purchase a gift for someone and simply have the items shipped to their address! If you need assistance with this, please feel free to contact our Customer Service Department at 1-888-879-8790.

I placed an order online. Can I cancel it now?

In order to provide superior service, your order is processed immediately upon receipt. To see if you can still cancel your order, please click on Your Account at the top of the page when visiting www.designerliving.com. If you see a red Cancel Order button next to your order, you can click on this, confirm the cancellation and your order will be canceled. If you do not see this button, it is most likely that your order has been received and processed and we are unable to accept a cancellation or change to the order. However, our friendly customer service staff would be happy to discuss our return policy with you in the rare event that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase.

I’m not comfortable using my credit card online. How do I know my card information is safe?

Our site is secured by one of the most trusted names in online transactions, GODADDY. All transaction data is encrypted during transmission and there is no credit card information available on the site itself.

Do I have to pay taxes on my purchases?

Taxes are charged directly in California. Customers in other states are responsible for any tax reporting that their specific state requires.

Can I add a gift message to my order?

Absolutely! On the second page of the checkout process, where you enter both the billing and the shipping addresses, there is a place for you to enter gift messaging for your recipient.

Why is there a limit on how many I can purchase?

We want all of our customers to enjoy our deals! In order to allow everyone in on this special offer, we must limit the number that each person can purchase. However, if you would like to purchase more than the maximum quantity allowed, please contact Customer Service at info@designerliving.com or 1-888-879-8790 and we will see if we can assist you further.

How does the Insider Steals work?

The Insider Steals begin at midnight (Pacific Standard Time) and last for 48 to 72 hours or until the steal sells out, whichever comes first. Customers can purchase two (2) units per order of the Insider Steals.

Mistakes do happen

We make every attempt to avoid errors in pricing, product information and product availability. If an error does occur, we reserve the right to correct it and we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause.

How do I add my Coupon?

The majority of our coupons are designed to work automatically. If a coupon did not apply to your order, it is probably for one of two reasons: One, you ordered something from our Designer Boutique Brands. Designer Boutique items are excluded from most of our coupons. Or two, the coupon has already been applied to the order. Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship outside of the United States?

At this time, we only ship in the United States. However, we are working hard to expand our area of coverage as quickly as possible so more people can enjoy our designer bedding and home décor items. Please visit our site often so you can take advantage of our great products and prices in the near future.

I placed an order today. When will my new items arrive?

All orders ship within 2 business days of placing the order. Orders that ship via UPS Ground arrive within 5-7 business days from the shipment date.

Why can’t you ship to PO Boxes?

We require a physical address to make a delivery. If your order needs special delivery attention, please contact Customer Service at 1-888-879-8790 or via email at info@designerliving.com.

I’m not going to be home on delivery day. Do I have to sign for my package?

Orders are usually delivered without a signature. Delivery without a signature is at the discretion of you and the carrier and can also be based on the individual driver's familiarity with the route.

Where do I add specific shipping instructions for my delivery?

At this time, we are unable to add specific notes for our carrier regarding your shipment. What we recommend is tracking your package and leaving a note for the carrier the day of delivery with your specific delivery instructions.

I want to check the status of my order/Order Tracking Details

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with your UPS tracking information. If you no longer have this email or never received, you can view your tracking information by logging into your account at www.designerliving.com. Once logged in, click on the grey "Your Account", then "Your Orders", and lastly "Order Details". From there, scroll down to the lower right hand side of the screen and you will see your UPS tracking number. If you click on this number, you will be taken directly to the UPS website where you can view your orders' Shipping and Transit information. Remember, you can also see your order history and rewards information from "Your Account", so visit us now!

I tried to order a product that is currently sold out. Will it ever be available again?

Designer Living is committed to offering you the finest selection of items to style your life. Our premium quality products, highlighting the latest styles, will be available as long as our customers request them. However, all good things must come to end. Therefore, once a Clearance Bin product is sold out it will generally not return to the site, but we’re sure you’ll find a new favorite in our recent additions!

I’m not familiar with the difference between a comforter and a duvet. Can you explain it?

A comforter is composed of an outer shell of fabric sewn over a filling (commonly down, cotton or poly). A duvet is essentially a fabric shell, open at one end. The duvet cover is easily removed for cleaning which allows you to keep a comforter you like and alter the pattern by simply changing the duvet cover.

Do you offer a guarantee or warranty on your products?

Returns

I received an item that I no longer want. How do I return it?

To initiate a return on your order, please go to the My Account page at www.designerliving.com. Then, simply follow the instructions as printed on your enclosed packing slip. Due to Designer Living having multiple regional returns centers based on product category, please return item/items to the address in the upper right hand corner of your packing slip. Please note, return shipping costs are the customers’ responsibility and are not refundable.

How long will it take for my refund to be credited?

Most refunds are credited back to your account within 10-15 days of our warehouse receiving the returned items.

What’s your return policy?

We always stand behind the quality of our products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may ship it back to us within 30 days of our original ship date for a full refund of your purchase price; sorry but clearance items are not returnable and shipping fees cannot be refunded. To be eligible for a refund, products must be returned in their original condition with their packaging intact. Return shipping costs are the customers’ responsibility.

I know the product has to be returned in the original packaging, but can I take it out first?

Of course! We want you to get the full effect of how the product looks in your home. Simply repack as best you can with inserts.

This product doesn’t work in my home, but I’m sure something else on the DesignerLiving site will be the perfect match. Can I exchange the products?

To facilitate a product exchange, simply return your product and the original packing slip with reason codes noted, and we will credit your method of payment. You may then shop for you replacement item on our website as a new purchase.

What is the best method to return an item?

All shipments are accompanied by a packing slip or invoice with instructions for returned goods. Please use the same box in which the original shipment arrived for best results. You may choose any carrier you prefer. To ensure the safe return of merchandise, please use a trackable shipping service, such as UPS or FedEx. For fastest service, please include all customer information and/ or the original invoice and make a copy of the invoice for your records.

How long before I receive my refund?

Most refunds are credited back to your account within 10-15 days of our warehouse receiving the returned items.

I received my product and it is defective and/or my order is not complete, what do I do?

We apologize for any problems you may have with your product and it is our first priority to get this fixed! Please contact us directly at 1-888-879-8790 or via email at info@designerliving.com and our Customer Service team will gladly assist you. Please note, you must contact us within 14 days of receipt of your order to notify us of a defect and/or missing item.
