An update on traditional rugs, our graceful Agra design features clean, clear colors and rich, abrashed wool. Hand tufted in classic rug making tradtion, the wools are dyed using a special technique that adds a gentle shading known as abrash. The detailing is intricate but more relaxed than is found in many classic styles. Hand finishing enhances the detailing of the motifs and a hand washing process brings out the natural patina of the wool. We offer this beautiful design in three color versions: Blue (shown here), green and red. This rug features a medium blue field with grey tones and accent colors that include multiple shades of rose, terracotta, green and brown. The clean ivory border adds to the rug's fresh appeal.
