I ordered the brown color, and the color is true to the one pictured. It had a slight smell to it so I washed it with a mixture of 1/2 cup of baking soda in a cup of water, and the smell came out. It was easy to wash and dry. The blanket is very soft. The only downside is that it is made in China as I prefer to keep the workforce in the U.S., but many items are these days.
