On Josie Natori's latest visit to Indonesia, she came across a magnificent hand painted textile that serves as the inspiration behind BALI. She reinterpreted the design as a print on a cotton slub base cloth to create the duvet cover, which features earthy tones of Khaki Brown, Fern Green, Natural, and Black. The motifs have been over embroidered in a natural yarn chain stitch. The euros utilize a coordinate motif in embroidery on cotton slub, while the coverlet is cotton blend crinkle that features hand quilting. Natori Bamboo sheets are Khaki Brown obi jacquard with a shibori cuff treatment. Decorative pillows made of cotton/linen and raw silk feature carved wood and yellow jade embellishments, completing the ensemble.
